Program Learning Outcomes

The purpose of this program is to assist non-native speakers, both resident and international students, to achieve educational, workplace or other personal goals by facilitating English language learning and intercultural understanding in a supportive, respectful environment.

Admission Information

The Intensive ESL (IESL) Program at Lane Community College offers 6 levels of English as a Second language study that ranges from true beginning through college transition. All new students should complete the ESL Intake Form and then take a placement test to be placed in an appropriate class level.
